Privacy policy

Goalpost: Free Shipping Bar ("the App") is provided by Klientship Technologies ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the App collects when a merchant installs it on a Shopify store, how we use it, and the choices merchants and their customers have.

Information we collect

• Store information. Your shop domain, shop name, currency and the access token Shopify issues when you install the App. We use these to authenticate requests and run the App.
• App settings. Your free shipping thresholds, messages, colors, reward tiers, product recommendations and campaigns. These are stored as metafields on your store and in our database.
• Aggregate storefront analytics. Daily totals such as how many times the bar was viewed, how many goals were unlocked and how many recommended products were added to carts. These counts are only collected when the shopper has allowed analytics through Shopify's customer privacy settings, and they are not linked to any identifiable person.
• Order attribution. When an order is placed, we store the order ID, order number, order total, currency and which bar goal or campaign was involved, so we can report revenue influenced by the App. We do not store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses or payment details.

How we use information

We use this information only to provide the App: to display the free shipping bar on your storefront, to show you analytics in the App, and to provide support. We do not sell information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

We share information only with the infrastructure providers that host the App on our behalf, and when required by law.

Retention and deletion

When you uninstall the App, we delete your store's access tokens straight away. Shopify then sends us a data deletion request, and we delete all remaining data for your store, including settings, analytics and order attribution records. We respond to Shopify's customer data request and customer redaction requests as required.

Your rights

Merchants and their customers may ask to access, correct or delete their information. Customers of a store using the App should contact that store directly, and the store can reach us for help.
